We were happy to allow the turret towers along the trenches up to the point where they became a problem–because we try not to be authoritarian dickbags. They are now beginning to clog the trenches and some players are not turning them off as they have been instructed to do. Since they are now becoming a problem, as they are interfering with other players attempting to make use of the tenches, we are imposing a new rule regarding their use. From this point forward, all turret towers along the trenches are going to be treated as traps. You can put them up, you can use them, but they must be taken down after each use. If the admins come across them, they will be destroyed like any other trap left out in the world.
No, they may not be used as your outpost. Outposts are for resource harvesting or taming purposes, and I will be clarifying this as I continue to overhaul the rules, not clogging up the trenches and preventing other players from getting a wyvern to the milking pen. I get that this isn’t going to be well received by some, but we have to balance what you want to do with an entire cluster of other players.
